After you have taken care of your loved ones, leaving a gift in your Will to KHULA Education is an amazing way of ensuring we can continue to build opportunities for rural children and young people around Rorke’s Drift and Isandlwana for many years to come. If you have already written your Will, your solicitor can add a simple codicil specifying any charitable gifts you would like to make.
Typically, your solicitor will need to know whether you wish to leave a residual gift (a percentage of your Estate after you have taken care of your loved ones), a pecuniary gift (a set amount of money) or a specific gift (this might be shares, property or another asset).
Your solicitor will also need KHULA Education’s full name and charity registration details (see below). For our UK supporters, we would recommend providing our UK registration details. For all other supporters, you can stipulate whether you wish for your gift to go to our UK or South African account. Whatever you choose, it will make a lasting difference to the lives of the children and young people of uMzinyathi.
While we appreciate that your Will is highly personal, we would love to hear from you if you have decided to remember KHULA, so that we can thank you and keep you updated on our work. If you are happy to do so, please email us at ukteam@khula.org.uk or debbie@khula-education.org.za.
