To further the cause of reconciliation between the people of the Republic of South Africa by promoting discussions through historical and political lectures nationally and internationally, and to raise funds through these and by any other appropriate means, for locally-based upliftment projects specifically in the areas of education and health in northern KwaZulu-Natal; and
To provide services contemplated in section 30 and Part I and Part II of the Ninth Schedule of the Income Tax Act of South Africa, namely:
- (a) The educational enrichment, academic support, supplementary tuition or outreach programmes for the poor and needy;
- (b) Career guidance and counselling services provided to persons attending any “school” (as defined in the South African Schools Act 84 of 1996) and “higher education institution” (as defined in the Higher Education Act 101 of 1997);
- (c) The provision of scholarships, bursaries, awards, loans and any other resources for educational purposes, research and teaching on such conditions as may be prescribed by the Minister of Finance by way of regulation in the Gazette; and
- (d) To liaise and collaborate with other institutions with similar aims and objects as the Company.
