Rattrace Success

July saw the tenth and final Rattrace (in its current form) being held over the 34 km track in and around Fugitives’ Drift, near Rorke’s Drift, in dry and dusty northern KZN.

This highly successful annual fundraiser attracted a group of friends and family who have been consistently loyal to the memory of David and in support of the activities of KHULA. Their kindness and generosity saw a record amount being generated through fines and entrance fees. This year’s race also saw a record number of Zulu entrants – 43 in all.

A combination of hard riding and fun-filled activities kept the days – and nights – filled, with James Hendry providing hilarious, sing-along, foot-stomping musical entertainment.

Thank you to everyone who participated, who made this event what is was and who contributed in so many ways to making this another Fugitives’ Drift memorable occasion.
